May 24 is worth circling if your album is stuck behind gold cards. The next Monopoly GO Golden Blitz is expected to start at 1 PM ET and run for 24 hours, giving players a short chance to trade two selected gold stickers only: Wake Up Goldilocks from Set 21 and Forest of Thorns from Set 23. That detail matters. Golden Blitz doesn't unlock every gold in your album, no matter how badly you need the others. So before the timer appears, check your Monopoly Go Stickers, see what you're missing, and work out whether either featured card finishes a set.

Why this Blitz matters

This event follows the May 13-14 Blitz, which featured Hightail It! from Set 19 and Feeling Snoozy from Set 21. The new pair was picked through official Monopoly GO Discord community polls, with one four-star gold and one five-star gold making the cut. There's no clean public calendar for these events, which is why players tend to watch polls, past timing, and season progress so closely. Once the event goes live, the Golden Blitz icon should appear on the right side of the board. If you don't see it, hold off. Gold trades won't work just because people are talking about them in chat.

How the trade limit works

During Golden Blitz, you can send up to five copies of the featured gold stickers. That's separate from your normal five daily sticker sends, which catches people out all the time. You still need a spare copy, though. The game won't let you send your only Wake Up Goldilocks or Forest of Thorns, even if you promise yourself you'll pull it again later. To trade, open the album, tap the featured sticker, and choose the send or exchange option. If the other player isn't someone you fully trust, use exchange. It's slower by a few seconds, but it lets both sides see the deal before anything goes through.

Don't panic-trade in the first hour

The timer makes people jumpy. You'll see wild offers, rushed messages, and plenty of "quick, last chance" pressure even when there are still hours left. Slow down a bit. If one of these golds completes a set for you, that's probably your best move because the reward can hand back dice, cash, packs, or another useful boost right away. If you've got a duplicate, you don't have to swap gold for gold. You might ask for the other featured sticker, a hard-to-find regular card, or stars toward your vault. Just check the name, set number, and rarity before tapping confirm. Similar sticker names cause more trouble than you'd think.

Make the 24 hours count

Try to start early if your schedule allows it. At the beginning, more players still have sends left, and the market usually feels less picked over. You can also request the missing featured gold from up to five friends, though only one copy can be received before the other requests drop away. Outside the Blitz, gold stickers can still come from packs, Quick Wins, tournaments, and event rewards, but nobody can really count on the drop rate.
